SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS

The Management Council of the North Australian Canine Association incorporated trading as Dogs NT is operating on less than the required number of Councillors, the effect this is having on our ability to effectively manage this association is not acceptable.

Therefore, if the Secretary and two Councillor Positions are not filled at our next Council meeting on 17 August, we must deduce that no one is interested in keeping this association running and it is time to commence proceedings to wind up the association.

Think of the consequences of this: NO Shows, NO Trials, NO Litter Registrations, NO Vote or input into any ANKC matter, NO NOTHING.

If you think it is as simple as amalgamating with another ANKC Member Body, I have to advise you that under the Associations Act this is not possible.

If you wish to nominate for the above positions or have any questions you need answered please contact any of the Councillors listed on our contact information page.

NOTICE TO OBEDIENCE MEMBERS
Dogs NT intends to run an Obedience Judges Course for Community Companion Dog and Companion Dog levels. Interested members may contact the Dogs NT office on 8984 3570 or admin@dogsnt.com.au for further information.

DOGS WEST SUSPENSION LIFTED
Please be advised that the Great Dane bitch Hildydane Chrystal Clear 2100204982 has had her suspension imposed in December 2006 LIFTED by Governing Council.

PREFIX CHANGE
The Prefix BORDERLAKE has been withdrawn following an Appeal.  The alternative Prefix CODEBONNIE has now been approved and registered. The National Prefix Register apologises for any inconvenience.
